MWAKIGWENA CHOIR MAKES A SURPRISE COME BACK

Kenyans are today, Sunday, celebrating the fourth Mashujaa day, the first under President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Presidency.
The day was set aside for Kenyans to honor the heroes and heroines who fought for the freedom of the nation.

Mashujaa day replaced Kenyatta Day.
President Kenyatta will lead the celebrations at the Nyayo Stadium, with many politicians, Cabinet secretaries and government officials in attendance. Many patriotic Kenyans are expected to turn up for the event that recognizes the shujaas that fought to liberate
the Nation. The celebrations come at a time when the nation is facing sporadic terrorist attacks from people believed to be members and sympathizers of the Al Qaeda linked Al
Shabaab terror network.

The latest terror act in the country about one month ago left about 67 people dead and about 175 others injured.

It was a surprise when The Renowned Mwakigwena Choir appeared in the scenes after years.
