LG OPTIMUS G2 LEAKS

The day after LG sent out invites for the Optimus G2
unveiling, a massive leak gave an up-close look at
the device. The event is planned for August 7, but the
device will launch in its home market a couple of
weeks later on August 20 according to the new info.

1. The Optimus G2 will have a 5.2" IPS display with
1080p resolution and a razor thin bezel

2. It will launch with Android 4.2.2 running on a Snapdragon 800 chipset with four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and 2GB of RAM (LG is reportedly considering moving up to 3GB).

3.The chipsetalso enables 150Mbps LTE-Advanced 4G connectivity.

4. A removable 2,700mAh battery will feed all this.

5. The camera is pegged at 13MP with unusual buttons
right next to it, which will serve multiple functions.

6. There are dual-speakers on the bottom.

The LG Optimus G2 is supposedly based on work LG is
doing on the Nexus 5, but that will be announced only
after the G2 – October 5 says the rumor. The Nexus
successor will reportedly bring Android 5.0 Key Lime
Pie, though we've barely started seeing 4.2 Jelly Bean
come out. How cool
